Nouri and Niusha Nighting

Nouri and Niusha Nighting met when they were graduate students abroad. While travelling in the Middle East in that period, they experienced the Hadj firsthand. This later inspired them to explore Islamic culture and literature. They have translated many related academic essays and books, but have always been keen to tackle more literary work. Kader Abdolah’s The Qu’ran and The Messenger are their first collaborative efforts.
